Inaugural Ceremony
Inaugurated By Mar George Rajendran SDB
The Inaugural Ceremony of Alphonsa’s Cherubs Preschool on November 17, 2023, at 10:00 am marked a significant milestone at Alphonsa Matriculation Higher Secondary School. The event underscored the importance of education through play and fun learning, creating an educative environment with colorful hues for the youngest learners.
His Excellency Mar George Rajendran SDB, the Bishop of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Diocese of Thuckalay, inaugurated the new Pre-KG Cherubs school in the presence of the Very Rev. Fr. Thomas Powathuparampil, the Vicar General & the Manager of English Medium schools of Thuckalay Diocese.
The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Rev. Fr. Sanil John, Correspondent, Rev. Fr. George Kandathil, Assistant Correspondent, Rev. Sr. Lizbeth, Principal, Mrs. Premkala, Vice Principal, Mrs. Monika Spinola, Headmistress, Mr. Xavier Chandra Bose, PTA President, Sr. Archana, Coordinator of Grade 10, parents, teachers and students.
His Excellency Mar George Rajendran SDB, along with the eager KG kids, officially inaugurated the new building by cutting the ribbon. Mrs. Nimi, Pre-KG staff, welcomed the gathering and extended gratitude to all attendees. His Excellency delivered an engaging and informative talk, emphasizing the pivotal role of education in life and society. He appreciated the management and Rev. Fr. Sanil John for his visionary plan in establishing the Pre-KG Cherubs school. Following the address, His Excellency blessed the new building, offering prayers for the well-being of the children and teachers. Sweets were distributed to parents as a gesture of celebration.
The inaugural ceremony concluded around 11:00 am, leaving a sense of anticipation and excitement for the new beginning. The event not only celebrated the physical establishment of the school but also highlighted the visionary commitment to providing quality education for the youngest minds.
